It's the little things in life. Our warm beds, the way the sun shines in the morning. Regardless of how the world changes, we can always look forward to small things that we can trust will always be there, waiting. In my work, I aim to show my appreciation to these things by capturing them in my art and writing.
My favorite project from this semester is:
This project uses p5.js to make an interactive image where the rain's intensity is controlled by the horizontal position of the mouse.
The assignment I made this for, project 3, is my favorite assignment because I feel like it has a good balance of freedom and restriction. With the chapbooks, it was difficult to understand how exactly I am meant to do something and that restricted my creativity. This assignment did not have any instructions other than to create something with javascript. Though at first it seems just as vague, I feel more free to experiment and be creative. If I knew how to implement something and it works with the rest of the program, I wasn't as worried about it being "wrong" in terms of what is expected of us.
